Stine Tetzschner Olsen Calum mainly works within the fields of chemistry, medical devices and mechanics.
Stine possesses a broad academic foundation with a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Chemistry with minor in Mathematics from the University of Copenhagen as well as almost seven years of experience as an examiner at the Danish Patent and Trademark Office.
During her research, Stine worked closely with several research groups to model and understand experimental results across a wide range of chemical systems – including chemical systems for solar energy storage.
As an examiner, she assisted both national and international clients with IP searches and handled patent applications, primarily within medical devices, chemistry, and mechanics. Further, she has been actively involved in several internation collaborations aimed at strengthening the understanding of IPR and harmonizing case handling across IP authorities.
Stine started as a Patent Consultant at Guardian in 2025.
