Carsten has more than 20 years of experience within the field of intellectual property: patents, utility models and design. He joined Guardian in 2018. Earlier, Carsten was employed as Patent Attorney in other IP consultant houses, as external advisor for Danish and International companies, from private inventors to large corporations. He has also been employed as a technical patent examiner at the Danish Patent and Trademark Office.
